Licensing & Regulatory Analyst
Jordan brings seven years of regulatory and compliance experience to Alterplay's licensing desk. Before joining the editorial team in 2024, he spent four years as a regulatory analyst at a UKGC-licensed operator group, where his work focused on Licence Conditions and Codes of Practice audit preparation, anti-money-laundering control reviews, and customer due-diligence frameworks across the operator's UK and Maltese licences. Prior to that, he worked in the regulatory affairs team of a gambling-software supplier headquartered in Manchester, drafting compliance documentation for new-market launches across Europe and Latin America.
He holds a Master's degree in Financial Regulation from the University of Manchester and an undergraduate law degree from the University of Sheffield. He is a member of the International Compliance Association and holds the ICA Specialist Certificate in Anti-Money Laundering. The combination of operator-side compliance practice and regulatory-affairs background sits behind everything he writes for Alterplay — what counts as a serious LCCP breach, how the Commission's enforcement language differs from public-relations language, where licence holders quietly restructure to absorb regulatory risk.
Outside Alterplay, Jordan contributes occasional commentary on UK gambling regulation to industry publications and has spoken at compliance conferences in London and Birmingham. He is based in Manchester.
